I need to use my NMCI email and I don’t have access to my NMCI computer. How do I access my NMCI email from a non-NMCI seat, such as from home? Outlook Web Access (OWA) is used to access NMCI email from a non-NMCI seat; a
CAC and card reader are required. Detailed steps for using OWA are provided at
the following link: https://www.homeport.navy.mil/training/tips/instructions/
If you have questions or need further assistance, please contact the NMCI
Service Desk at 1 866 THE NMCI (1-866-843-6624), or DSN 577 HELP, or via email
at servicedesk_USMC@nmci.usmc.mil.
I am currently deployed away from my duty station. I have a NMCI Marine account and was wondering if I could get it forwarded to my email address. I have tried the link for deployable members and can't seem to get it to work. You may redirect your NMCI email to your deployed account by going to
https://deployables.nmci.usmc.mil/. If you are unable to do this or do not have
a CAC reader, please contact the helpdesk at DSN 577-HELP or DSN 278-0367. You
may also email the helpdesk at helpdesk_usmc@nmci.usmc.mil.
I forgot my NMCI account username/password. Where can I go for help? Contact NMCI helpdesk for NMCI account username and password assisstance. The
Help Desk contact number is 1-866-THE NMCI (1-866-843-6624), or DSN 577 HELP or
email them at helpdesk_usmc@nmci.usmc.mil.
Login IDs Did you know you can login with your first name and last name? Or you can login
with your shortname the user ID itself? It works for most users either way
depending on how they created thier account. Different strokes for different
folks.
How may deployed users redirect their email? Deployed users may re-direct their email by clicking the following link:
https://deployables.nmci.usmc.mil/ Please note that you must know your deployed
email address. Re-direction is allowed to .mil, or .gov domains only.
Navy and USMC Emails requesting access In the past usmc.mil or navy.mil were automatically approved. Now you must
request access and fill in your supervisors information the same as any other
outside user.
Is there a policy regarding quotes or statements in email signatures? Quotes are not specifically prohibited, unless they contain blatantly offensive
information (such as sexually suggestive, profane or proprietary
information). Local commands may establish guidelines for the content of
email signatures. If a user has a concern/issue regarding this topic, the user
should contact their unit/installation Information Assurance (IA) Manager.
I have a question about my usmc.mil or navy.mil account. Where can I go for help? Contact the Help Desk at 866.THE.NMCI (866.843.6624) or click on the NMCI log
in the upper left corner of this web page.
